Practice in Under 45 Minutes - PPT
Format: PowerPoint (.pptx), 41 slides with 4 practice clips built in.
This is the clinic talk on how we practice. Kids need to be fresh and going full speed, and that doesn't happen when we ask for 20 reps in 5 minutes of drill time or leave half the team standing in line. So we built practice from the base up and cut out what doesn't show up on Friday night.
It covers the base rules we build every practice on, what Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday look like in season, individual drills that translate to game day, building a drill book by position (with our wingback as the example, down to the minutes per week), pods, group and review time, team periods that are always run with a situation, film time and how we adjust individual for the opponent.
Who it is for: head coaches and coordinators who feel like practice runs long and the kids don't get enough good reps.
